Raw Afro-Cuban drums, baroque refinement and twenty-first century electronica are masterfully converged in DJ Sayho's unique live musical sets. born and raised in Miami, Sayho's journey in musical exploration began at an early age playing bass guitar for his brother's garage rock band. with an insatiable compulsion for exploring sonic trends, Sayho's adolescence was immersed in Afro-Cuban drumming which was omnipresent in his traditional Cuban family's household.

 

 

While studying classical music at the university of Florida, Sayho discovered an unusual similarity between the structured patterns of baroque music and the pulsating meters of house music. Sayho now honed in his sound wave radar towards the bass-heavy beats and synthesized melodies emanating from the underground club scenes of Florida and New York city. after earning his bachelors degree, Sayho began delivering his own brand of infectious beats at private house parties in Miami. his reputation as being a skillful and creative music mixer soon landed him a special guest DJ slot at south beach's infamous twist.

 

 

Sayho has continued on to perform for Miami's elite dance events winter party, white party, and winter music conference. his acclaimed live DJ sets have taken him as far as Europe where he was featured in Barcelona's summertime loveball festival.
